Directory ready for year ahead

Local residents can expect the latest version of the Business and Community Directory to arrive on their doorstep over the next few weeks.

City of Karratha CEO Chris Adams launched the 2016-2017 edition of the directory last night at the Karratha and Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business After Hours function.

City of Karratha Deputy Mayor and Karratha and Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry John Lally said the directory was an excellent community resource for local businesses and residents.

“The 2016/2017 edition of the Business and Community Directory contains the latest contact information for a wide range of local businesses, events, facilities and services in the area,” Cr Lally said.

“As well as providing this key information, the directory also serves as a tide calendar and provides concise maps of each town as well as the Dampier Archipelago,” he said.

City of Karratha CEO Chris Adams said the City of Karratha was proud to support the annual directory through the established partnership between Council and the KDCCI.

“The City of Karratha sponsors the annual Business and Community Directory as part of our corporate sponsorship held with the KDCCI. The partnership also includes support for the Small Business Breakfasts, awards sponsorship and business training,” he said.

“We are very pleased to support the 2016-2017 directory, it is a beneficial resource for our local business and residential communities,” he added.
